Golf Cart Rules & Regulations
Effective Starting July 3rd, 2006, the following rules apply to all
Golf Carts used in one of Destin Days Rental Properties:

The person responsible for
renting through Destin Days Vacation Rentals is responsible for
any loss or damage to golf cart and its accessories.

No one under the age of 16 is
permitted to drive golf cart at any time.

Rules of the road apply when
golf carts are driven through the subdivision.

While driving outside the
subdivision, golf carts must be driven on the sidewalk and/or
under the tunnel to access the beach. Crossing the scenic drive
must be done through the tunnel. DO NOT DRIVE ACROSS THE STREET.

Golf cart parking for beach
access is immediately East of the James Lee Park (Crab Trap
Restaurant) on the little stretch of grass where other golf
carts are parked. DO NOT drive your golf cart through the
parking lot or park in a parking space as you may be issued a
ticket by the Sheriff's Department.

Golf carts may be driven at
night only if they are equipped with proper headlights and
taillights.

Golf carts are to be used
properly secured to avoid theft, damage, or unauthorized use.
Golf carts must be left at your rental property every night and
parked in the garage.
** It is the
guest's responsibility to follow these rules. If these rules are not
followed, you may be subject to a personal ticket issued by the
Okaloosa County Sheriff's Department. **
